Drew & Christine,
Well, the escrow closed Tuesday on Longfellow, which was as expected a bittersweet experience. Thanks to your help though, mostly sweet!
Just wanted to drop you a note letting you know that we appreciated your excellent service and how well your experience and marketing benefited us in our home sale both financially and with the ease-of-sale. There are some other nicer homes in our neighborhood still sitting on the market, so we feel quite lucky in both respects!
All your advice about home improvements, marketing and pricing have been right on the money and I think that has to be a function of your extensive experience and client dedication. At our last meeting with Drew I said something about wondering whether we should have asked a higher price, before we knew about the offers. Lisa mentioned that it sounded like I might be questioning the price you two suggested, but I wanted to say that was absolutely not the case. You had explained very well the trade-off between asking a higher price and getting fewer possible buyers; when I talked about asking for a higher price it was with your advice in mind and my thinking that we wouldn't have too many interested buyers. I thought that a higher price would make the most what buyers we might have. As it turned out, the opposite was true and there was a ton of interest, so your price point was fairly perfect for the market.
Thanks again for everything, it's been a pleasure working with you, which we would be saying even if things had not gone as well as they did.
Sincerely,

Bruce & Lisa
